The Rainmaker

When drought encroaches on the rainy season
And announces meager days for cattle
Poor crops in farms
And starvation for all
Blessed be the rainmaker
Who with a mysterious cow tail lifted towards the sky
Gathers the clouds
And invites the rain to pour down
When the rainy clouds gather in the deep sky
And threaten to burst into water
And spoil the great ceremony presided
By the traditional chief
Blessed be the rainmaker
Who with a magic tail lifted towards the sky
Disperses the clouds
And dispels the rain
I before this prowess I stand amused
The rainmaker possesses a rain-control tail
With which he can attract or dispel the rain
